OpenAir 2010: Renew Your Mind

You have probably already heard about the idea of camping next weekend (August 6-7). Well, things are moving along and so the plan is to drive up to the mountains (Beech Hill Campground) on Friday noon/evening, depending on your availability, spend the night there in tents, have some good conversations around the fire, do whatever fun activity fits you best, and drive back to Manchester on Saturday evening.

If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so as soon as possible. Cost of this event is $15 if you are not employed, and $20 if you are. Money are collected either by myself or Anya S. You do need a tent to sleep over, but Vlad G. volunteered to help out people with tent arrangements. Number of tent sites is limited, so if you don’t sign up, then I am sorry, you can’t go.

In terms of food: dinner and breakfast will be provided. There will be a fresh water supply there as well (but bring your own cups/mugs/whatever). Snacks and other things like that are your own responsibility.

This is not a strictly fun event, we want it to be a spiritually refreshing time. So we selected a topic for this getaway – Renew Your Mind (Romans 12:1-2). School, work, different commitments all battle for our attention day in and day out. And it’s so easy to get caught up in all of this and ignore the most important aspect of our life – our relationship with Jesus Christ. This is why from time to time we need to re-tune ourselves to the right frequency. We need to renew our minds to focus on what’s truly and eternally important! But how do we do that, and what does it involve, will be up for a discussion during this camping trip.

Church Cup 2010

Физкульт-Привет всем футбольным энтузиастам!

28 Августа, 2010 года, пройдет 5-ый ежегодный молодежный футбольный чемпионат по футболу, в простонародье известный как Church Cup. В этом году как минимум 8 команд из всех концов Америке (это конечно преувеличение!) будут претендовать на Кубок, который в 2009 был увезен командой из Филадельфии.

Прошу всех молиться об этом мероприятии, чтобы Господь благословил нас хорошей погодой, чтобы все прошло без всяких травм и конфликтов, и чтобы все успеть сделать с организационной стороны. И самое главное, чтобы в этом мероприятии прославилось имя Господа нашего Иисуса Христа!

Erie PA 2010

Всем привет!

Пометьте свои календари на 13ого по 15ое Августа, это будет молодежная конференция в Erie, PA. Тема конференции: Верность Господу – “Будь верен до смерти, и дам тебе венец жизни” (Отк. 2:10). Главными спикерами конференции будут Вилли Дик, Юрий Сенченко, и Вениамин Пинкевич.

Информация о том как мы туда поедим будет известна уже ближе к самой конференции.

Camp Echo 2010

Как вам известно (или неизвестно, в таком случае я ставлю вас перед фактом), в это Воскресенье, 14-ого Марта в 6:00 вечера под сводами Украинской церкви на Юнион будет проходить наше очередное ежемесячное собрание под незамысловатым названием Tri-Youth. Тема служения – «Жизнь, наполненная доверием Богу» основанная на жизни Авраама. Особым гостем и проповедником служения будет Михаил Савин! 1st time in the history of Manchester youth!!!

Hello, dear brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen, friends – EVERYONE who considers themselves to be a young soul from Manchester!!!

FOR THE 1st TIME IN THE HISTORY…

Manchester Youth is about to host one of the most epic celebrations of the
year!

As you may remember, in previous years we used to have separate days to show our appreciation for each other – girls would have a special day for our wonderful brothers, and vice-versa – all of that used to happen around this time of year – late winter, early spring.

This year, for the 1st time, we are joining TOGETHER for one big get together.

When: Saturday, March 13th, 5:30pm
Where: Russian Church (7 Hall Rd., Londonderry, NH)

Why: Through the blood of Christ we’ve been connected together. The goal of this event is to show that we we love, value and appreciate one another.

What should I expect out of this evening: the girls are preparing program in the honor of our brothers.. and guys will do a fair share on their part. There will be a great program that will involve spiritual, fun and
practical aspects of our lives. There will be delicious food, interesting games, and much much more… So please make sure you come, and better else – participate in this event to make it even more memorable!

The THEME of the evening remains to be: “NIGHT IN PARIS” – simply because it’s romantic

GUYS – FORMAL ATTIRE ONLY (no jeans? no jeans! NO JEANS!!!)

Всем привет!

меня уже обвинили в том что я пишу слишком длинные письма и людям их приходится читать с закладкой, и к тому моменту когда они их дочитывают описанные события уже прошли. Поэтому, не повторяя прошлых ошибок:

Четверг, 7pm, продолжаем разбор/дискуссию Евангелия от Иоанна.

Пятница, 7pm, Валерий Щербина будет участвовать в служении на Сагамор.

Суббота, 10am, семинар “Дух Святой, Дары Духа Святого, и Харизматия” на Юнион. После главного семинара будет отдельное общение для братьев (проводит Игорь Яремчук) и для сестер (проводит жена Игоря Яремчукаа).

Воскресение, 5pm, евангелизационное служение с участием Валерия Щербина на Юнион.

Skiing on Saturday the 27th

Hey guys!

When we went to Gunstock ski mountain resort a few weeks ago everyone liked it and expressed an interest to do it again! So on Saturday the 27th we plan to go again! Whoo-hoo! Maybe the beginning of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver will inspire your sport spirit and more of you will come

Also, quite of few non-Christians guys and gals went with us last time even though we didn’t even put much effort to invite them. This time though we would like to invite as many non-Christians as we can. I am going to send a similar email to all Russians at UNH I know, and you can invite people you know. Nationality is not a consideration, last time we even had one German! Opportunity for us to make new friends and to practice what we preach in church.

Gunstock is located near lake Winnipesauke.

When to meet: we are meeting at the Russian church on Saturday 27th at 2:00pm. Plan is to take the church bus and maybe a few cars if necessary. Maybe dyadya Vanya will go with us again!

Skiing duration: 4pm-10pm.

Cost: $30 which includes lift ticket, rentals and 1 hour of snow tubing if desired. Considering that downhill skiing is quite expensive recreation, this is a bargain! It’s cheaper than Pat’s Peak ($39).

What to wear: a few layers of clothing (depending on weather) with a jacket, winter waterproof pants (underpants are highly recommended) NO JEANS, warm socks, gloves, hat. Any skiing equipment such as goggles, helmet, etc. is a plus.

Food: food at ski resorts is always overpriced so you might want to bring snacks with you.

Please let me know if you are planning on going and how many people you invite. If we have a large group we may even get a group discount. Plus, it’s nice to know how many people are coming so we can think of transportation.
