Thursday, Boston, Sunday, New Years

December 8, 2010 | by Stefan Slonevskiy | Category: Emails No Comments

Hey everyone!

Quick reminder, for this Thursday we all need to read the book of
Colossians from start to finish. This should not take you more than 15
minutes. So get a cup of warm tea and enjoy this amazing epistle! :)

On Saturday we’ll be going to Boston to hand out Christmas concert
invitations. We will meet at Russian church at 9:30AM in the morning.
We’ll take the van to make everyone’s commute easier. We should be
back to Manchester by 2PM.

On Sunday at 7PM we will have our joint choir practice in Russian church.

And lastly, if you have not done so already, please register for the
New Years, that is if you are going with us to the mountains.
Registration link: http://www.triyouth.com/new-year-2011/

Thank you and have a great week!

New Year’s 2011 Details and Sign Up

December 3, 2010 | by Alex Bondarets | Category: Emails, Events No Comments

Hello, everyone!

Here are the details for new years:

Topic/Theme:

For this year’s theme/topic we chose an often used, but much more often not practically applied, verse from Philippians 3:14: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus.” We call this year’s theme Toward The Mark.

Time/Location Details:

Same place as last year. The only difference this year is that we can come one day earlier. This is the schedule:

Thursday, December 30: Arrive anytime.
Friday, December 31: All day.
Saturday, January 1: Stay until evening. Everyone has to leave by 9pm.

(We can’t stay there for Sunday, so this is the reason why you can come one day earlier on Thursday if you’d like to spend 2nights/3days in the mountains)

REGISTRATION FORM (CLOSED)

(please register ASAP – we need to know how many people will come on Thursday)

Schedule:

Here is what the schedule for three days is going to look like (subject to change somewhat as we go through it).

THURSDAY (DECEMBER 30TH)
12pm – Some (but not all) arrivals, preparations, etc.
6pm – Dinner
8pm – Getting To Know Each Other…
9pm – Theme Introduction
11pm – Discussions By The Fireplace

FRIDAY (DECEMBER 31ST)
9am – Devotional
11am – Brunch
12:30pm – Outside Activities / Free Time
5:30pm – Dinner
10pm – New Year Service
1am – Fun Part
3am – Free Time

SATURDAY (JANUARY 1ST)
10:30am – Devotional
12pm – Brunch
1pm – Free Time
3:30pm – Prayer Stations
5pm – Dinner
6:30pm – Closing Thoughts
8pm – Clean Up
9pm – Departure

Price:

1 night + food: $30
2nd night + food: $50

This price is $5 more than last year. If you cannot afford to pay for this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Money should not stop anyone from coming. If this is the case for you, just email me back or talk to me or Stefa in private just so that we know you’re coming.

Also, many of you paid a little more last year so that we had some extra money to cover other small expenses. If anyone is able to do so this year, it will be a HUGE help.

How to Pay?:

The easiest would be for me to get a check from you, but cash works fine too. You can pay when we get up there, no need to pay early.

Directions/Address:

71 King Drive
Plainfield, NH 03781
www.singinghills.net
(note – Do not use Mapquest for directions. Use maps.google.com or a GPS system)

How Many People are Going?

Not sure yet, I will update on this number as we get closer to new years. Last year we had almost 70 people!

May I bring a guest or two?

Sure, we have plenty of room.

I’m not sure if I can go or not. When do I need to know by?

At least a few days before New Year’s please. Get in touch with me and we can figure it out. But register anyway and just put “maybe” if you’re not sure yet.

More details will be sent as we get closer to new years. Also, I will create a Facebook group for this so that we can have a discussion going in there as well. If you don’t get an invite today for this group, that’s because I forgot to add you or because I don’t have you as an e-friend. Just sent me a quick email or FB message and I’ll add you into the group.

Important information for married couples:

If you’re married and you would like your own room for new years: Singing Hills is charging more for married couples who would like to have their own room. This is because they will need to open up a separate building for you, and they will need to heat the building and clean it, so that’s why the extra cost. Here is your pricing (includes food):

Thursday night, Dec 30th: $50 per person
Friday night: Dec 31st: $70 per person
or you can get 2 nights together for $100 per person

If you plan on bringing children with you (older than 2), it may not work out. Our contract is for a group of young adults, there’s no inclusion for kids in our contract so this becomes an insurance issue for us and the camp. Although you are allowed to bring infants and babies with you as they will always be by their parents’ side.

Devotion Breakfast, Спевка, Tri-Youth Служение

November 18, 2010 | by Stefan Slonevskiy | Category: Emails No Comments

Extreme Camping Anyone?

November 3, 2010 | by Stefan Slonevskiy | Category: Emails No Comments

Hey guys,

we want to go camping in a couple of weeks and we want to have a topic
for an open discussion (kind of like what we had in August). We want
to know how many people will be interested in going for two days
(Friday and Saturday).

Potential topic for the camp: how to have a closer relationship with
Jesus Christ.

Please respond directly to Misha Ilyuk or myself.

God bless!

Tri-Youth this Sunday

September 23, 2010 | by Stefan Slonevskiy | Category: Emails No Comments

Hello everyone!

Just a quick reminder in case you missed the announcement in your
church, that we’ll be having a tri-youth service this Sunday (26th) at
6pm in Russian Church. We don’t have a specific topic, but we do have
a guest speaker :)

Please think and pray how you may contribute to this service (be it a
song, or a poem, or a joyful God-glorifying smile that will draw
others to Jesus) :)

And, as always, we got headphones with English translation, so don’t
hesitate to invite your American friends.

God Bless!

Stefa

Correction

August 31, 2010 | by Alex Bondarets | Category: Emails No Comments

In the last email I meant to say that this ALSO applies to youth from Union
st. and Sagamore st.

My hope that that youth from the 3 churches could fill up the bus to the
point where it would be worth taking it.

State College conference

August 31, 2010 | by Alex Bondarets | Category: Emails 1 Comment

Hi everyone!

The conference is this Saturday. If enough people are interested, we can
take the church van. Not sure yet when it would leave on Friday but we can
decide that if enough people respond.

So, if you would like to go on the church van, please email me back and also
tell me what’s a good time to leave for you. This applies to youth from
Union st. and Sagamore st.

Church Cup tomorrow…

August 27, 2010 | by Stefan Slonevskiy | Category: Emails No Comments

Hi everyone,

Church Cup tomorrow! Exciting isn’t it? Few things I need to bring to
your attention:

1) Event starts at 9:30am at Rock Rimmon Park, 264 Moore St.,
Manchester, NH 03102. Our color is RED!

2) Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. These
fields don’t have any bleachers, and you don’t want to be standing all
day. If you have extra, bring them as well.

3) GUYS: please bring two family sized bags of chips/doritos each for lunch!

4) GIRLS: if you haven’t gotten an assigned for dinner yet please
contact Olenka (Ukrainian church) or Anya (Russian church)

5) Who has a desire to pray, let’s meet at 9 on the field and ask God
for His grace on the games and the whole day!

I think that’s all. God bless and see you tomorrow!
