Hello Great Youth of Manchester!
With 2 days away from my race I would like to thank everyone for their
donations and their support regarding this event!
I fund raised 140$, 10$ short off of my goal (150$)! There is still time
though until Wednesday to donate any amount is greatly appreciated and if
for some reason you haven’t been getting my previous e-mails all the money
is going towards a new cancer center with new technology that will be build
in Concord in the next couple of years!

…Now what about Zechariah 13:8-9? It tells us one of the main ways that God awakens earnest prayer in his children, namely, in the refining fires of suffering. Don’t worry about when this passage is talking about. Just see, for now, how God works, and use this word to prepare yourself for God’s prayer school.
Verse 8: “In the whole land, declares the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive.” So the one third represents God’s remnant—his faithful, imperfect, weak people, who do not pray with the kind of discipline and desperation and joy, and hunger for God, that they should. So what is God’s remedy? What is his school of prayer?
Verse 9: “And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested.” Notice carefully what is happening. In his great love, God saved the one third from being cut off with the two thirds who perished (v. 8). And then as part of his love for them, he puts them in the fire to be tested and refined. That is normal Christianity. “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you” (1 Peter 4:12).
But what is it that God wants to see change in his people? Verse 9: “I will test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them.” That’s all he mentions. Nothing about their sex lives. Nothing about their money lives. Nothing about their power struggles. He just says: “When they come through the fire, they will pray to me, and I will answer.”
God puts his people through the fire to awaken earnest prayer. This was the unexpected jolt from Zechariah at the end of the year. Please don’t be among the number—I am pleading with you—who take the school of suffering, designed to teach us to pray, and make it the reason you have given up on prayer. Do you see what I am saying? Some enter the fiery school of prayer and instead of learning to call on God, learn the opposite. Zechariah 13:9 is in the Bible as God’s sweet promise to help you profit from his school.
He lures us with the promise: “I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

В этот раз, наш брат Анатолий Ильюк делился тем как ему посчастливилось недавно съездить в отпус, но не только для того чтобы отдонуть, но самое главное заняться Евангелизацией местного населения чтобы больше и больше людей узнали о Спасителе!
Помимо раздачи сотен Евангелизационных буклетов и листовок, Анатолий лично общался с многими людьми и неоднократно призывал их к покаянию. Порой он сам поражался сколько Бог делал через него. Для всех нас это большой пример того, как мы должны жить и стараться донести Спасительную Весть миллионам неспасенных людей.
Брат Анатолий призвал всех из молодежи, кто присутствовал на этом общении, проповедовать в простоте слова Господа Иисуса Христа, который любит и прощает всё!

Tomorrow we will continue our discussion/study of the Gospel of John. If you have not been to one of these Bible studies yet, please come! It’s a huge blessing to read the Bible together and then share our thoughts and opinions on what we learned. We will be picking on up at the beginning of chapter 4 tomorrow, so please read it ahead of time. We will try to cover the whole chapter.

It is believed that God is revealed to people in two forms: general revelation and special revelation.
The general revelation of God is expressed in the nature of the world (the coherent composition of earth, ocean, mountains, animals in all its power) and in the nature of mankind (peoples ability to think, to feel, to express emotions, to have spiritual needs and desires, etc.). The general revelation is passed onto ALL people on this planet.
The special revelation was intended only for certain people and at certain times. In Old Testament, that special revelation often came through prophesy, dreams, vision, etc. The special revelation in the New Testament is revealed to people when they see and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
As far as the Bible, this Book is not just a collection of God’s revelations over the course of the history. The Bible is the Word of God, and it also explains God’s character and His will towards our lives.
A person can get saved only through the special revelation of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to Thank everyone who already donated for my race on May19th
with your help I already fund raised 130$. My goal is 150$, all of the money
will go towards a fund to build a new cancer building for patients who need
cancer treatments.But please don’t let the 150$ stop you. There is a lot of
people who are diagnosed with cancer every single day and having this new
building will at least make their battle with cancer somewhat better. Any
amount will be greatly appreciated!
